Vietnamese Exports strive for Construction Category 3

Andy Glendinning 22 March 2022

There are 4 Construction Categories that are nominated in the Australian Standards CC1 – CC4, for which requirements increase in strictness from CC1 – CC4 .

CC4 only applies to unusual or special structures and if no Construction Category is specified CC2 is applied

The choice of a Construction Category is related to the importance factor, the Service Category and the Fabrication Category

Documentation – Will increase with each higher level of Construction Category ranging from compliance of material , compliance of workers , traceability of each item of steel and welder identification, 3rd party testing documentation and compliance of requirements just to mention a few.

Welding – Permanent fully Qualified Welding Engineer and Welding Inspector at the factory 100% of the time can ensure Comprehensive Quality requirements and procedures are being implemented .

VIETNAMESE EXPORTS together with Australian Engineers are striving and continuing to be compliant with Construction Category 3 [ CC3 ] . We understand the importance of understanding each requirement and to comply. The improvement and confidence that we bring to our Australian clients by improving our Standards and implementing procedures and to continue to strive towards CC3 is a major goal for our Company
